Warranty Process
Easy 1-Step Warranty Submission
Thank you for purchasing a VeraLux Home. Our professional warranty staff is committed to providing you outstanding customer service while completing your repairs in a timely manner.
This information has been provided in an effort to set your mind at ease over incidents routinely experienced in the early months of homeownership. Knowing what to expect before it actually occurs will assist you in understanding events that might otherwise generate unnecessary concern.
Maintenance matters for which you are responsible are excluded in the Express Limited Home Warranty.
Once logged into your Portal - follow these steps!
- Go to Builder Trend.net
- Log-into your Buildertrend account if you have already signed up, if not you are able to sign up at this time.
- Click on the Project Management field at the top of the screen and select warranty.
- To file a new claim, click the green “New Claim” Button
- Enter all the information that is requested and save.
- Fill out all spaces with the information being asked. This will allow the warranty specialist to handle your warranty service request thoroughly.
- Once that is submitted, the warranty department is automatically notified. Warranty department will then notify you of the next step, whether it is covered by warranty, or if a call to the manufacturer is required, if work is to be done.
- The builder will then get a Work Order submitted for the work to be completed and scheduled.
- Once the work is complete, builder will mark the ticket as closed and you will be notified by email.
- In case of a true emergency, which is listed out in your warranty package, then you will contact the contractor that is for that particular issue directly. The number will be listed on your Emergency Contact sheet.
